The event served as a platform for garden club members to showcase their lifelong dedication to horticultural craftsmanship. Susan Throneberry, co-chair of the Cardinal Council flower show, likened the event to the joy of nurturing a child, stating, “It’s sort of like having a baby. After it’s over, everything’s wonderful and we’re excited for the next year. Now, the week before or the day before we have the show, sometimes it’s a little nerve-wracking, but it’s a wonderful opportunity.”

As a seasonal highlight, the show attracts enthusiasts who appreciate the intricacies of floral artistry. For those who missed this year’s event, fret not; Bowling Green anticipates another splendid showcase in the spring of 2025.
