They embarked on a journey to explore the vulnerability, diversity, and interconnectedness of all living beings, and how these themes mirror the ever-changing visual tapestry of flowers.
Oreña shared her insights, stating, “Our fascination with flora sparked this journey, and the exploration naturally led us to contemplate interconnectedness and diversity.” Their creative endeavor also revolved around the concept of fleeting beauty, where the realization that nothing lasts forever accentuates the preciousness of the present moment.
The photo series they produced features subjects with coiling stems and vibrant blooms, juxtaposed against dewy skin and rosy cheeks, and includes a diverse cast.
