BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The fragrance of fresh blooms and the spirit of giving filled Pointe Marie in Baton Rouge on April 6-7 as The Flower Fest made its return. This vibrant festival, adorned with floral themes, attracted flower enthusiasts, DIY aficionados, culinary enthusiasts, and philanthropists alike.
Amy Vandiver, the visionary behind The Flower Fest, emphasized the festival’s deeper significance. “What’s beautiful about this is we aren’t just a festival just for fun. We have a great cause for St. Jude,” stated Vandiver.
Since its inception, The Flower Fest has been a beacon of generosity, having raised nearly $150,000 in its initial three years. The organizers aspire to surpass this milestone in the current edition, aiming to elevate their contribution to St. Jude’s cause.
