BILLINGS, Mont. – As spring ushers in its signature blooms, Downtown Billings emerges adorned with vibrant floral displays, marking the return of an annual tradition.
The Downtown Billings Business Improvement District (BID) Street team dedicated a day to hanging a substantial portion of the 185 resplendent petunia baskets throughout various sections of the central city.
These flower baskets stand as a cornerstone of the Downtown Billings Association’s (DBA) renowned beautification efforts. Expressing gratitude to the community and sponsors for their unwavering support, Joe Stout, Director of the Business Improvement District (BID), conveyed appreciation for the collaborative effort behind this endeavor.
“Numerous individuals and entities generously sponsored these baskets this year. While it’s challenging to enumerate them all, we extend our heartfelt thanks to each contributor,” Stout remarked. “The acquisition and upkeep of these baskets entail significant costs, underscoring the value of community support. We are truly grateful for their contributions.”
The revival of this cherished tradition not only adds aesthetic appeal to the downtown landscape but also serves as a testament to the community’s collective investment in enhancing the city’s ambiance.
