The Greenwich Garden Club, an esteemed member of the Garden Club of America, is set to host a captivating event titled “Unexpected Beauty,” a GCA Flower Show. Scheduled to take place on Friday, June 14, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Saturday, June 15, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the event will unfold at the Christ Church Parish Hall, located at 254 Putnam Avenue in Greenwich.
This eagerly anticipated exhibition, which is free and open to the public, promises a delightful array of displays encompassing Floral Design, Horticulture, Photography, and Botanical Arts.
Adding depth to the occasion, visitors will have the opportunity to engage in the enthralling Fascinating Forums, with tickets available for purchase. These forums, spread across the two-day event, will feature a diverse range of topics, including a captivating floral design workshop, a rejuvenating sound bath experience, an exploration into the enchanting world of mushrooms, and a session dedicated to unveiling the secrets of crafting a magical moon garden, among other enriching discussions.
Renowned author and photographer, Craig Burrows, will grace the show with his presence, presenting his latest publication, “What the Bees See.”
Moreover, attendees can look forward to exploring a boutique showcasing an assortment of unexpectedly beautiful and unique items.
Importantly, the proceeds generated from the Flower Show will be directed towards the Greenwich Garden Club Civic Improvement Fund, underscoring the event’s commitment to community betterment.
