Maizuru Park in Chuo Ward, Fukuoka, is currently adorned with water lilies boasting delicate pale yellow petals. These flowers have transformed the moat, creating a picturesque scene where dragonflies gently alight upon their slender, 10-centimeter-wide blooms.
Park authorities have highlighted that these captivating blooms can be admired from two key vantage points: the north side, adjacent to the historic (Den) Shiomi-yagura Turret, and the south side, near the serene Gokoku Shrine. Visitors are encouraged to plan their visit between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., as the lilies open at sunrise and gracefully close by early afternoon.
The floral display promises to enchant park-goers throughout the summer season, with the spectacle set to continue until the end of August.
