LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky Kingdom has launched its 2025 season with a captivating addition that promises to enchant visitors throughout the summer.
This season, the park introduces ‘Petal Palooza,’ a vibrant celebration highlighted by live flower walls and mosaic horticulture installations that adorn the park’s landscape. According to Logan Sanderson, Kentucky Kingdom’s communications manager, returning guests will discover a host of new attractions designed to surprise and delight.
“We have live flower walls, mosaic horticulture, the large horse sculpture, and many great flowers throughout the park,” Sanderson remarked.
A significant portion of the flowers and greenery showcased throughout the park were cultivated by Kentucky Kingdom’s own horticulture team, underscoring the park’s commitment to showcasing local flora.
In addition to the botanical displays, Sanderson shared with WLKY that the park has already commenced themed programming for the season.
“We have live events happening throughout the month,” Sanderson stated. “We just recently had a silent disco, and we have a 5k run on June 29.”
Dubbed ‘Floral Frenzy,’ the upcoming 5K run promises an exhilarating experience with participants encountering stations where they are sprayed with colored powder as they traverse the park.
Kentucky Kingdom’s ‘Petal Palooza’ is set to run until June 30, offering visitors a unique blend of natural beauty and immersive entertainment experiences.
