Savvy hawkers stationed along South Mada Street have demonstrated their astuteness yet again. These enterprising individuals are offering an array of vegetables, flowers, and other essential items, catering to various occasions such as festivals, seasons, and celebrations.
A vibrant transformation has swept across some of the hawker stalls since Wednesday, marked by an array of colors. The reason behind this lively display is the assortment of flowers they are now selling.
These blossoms are in high demand for the upcoming Varalakshmi Puja on Friday and the ongoing Onam festival celebrations, which commenced this week and are set to conclude on August 29.
The hawkers have attached specific price points to their offerings: 100 grams of flowers are available for Rs 50, while 250 grams can be purchased for Rs 100.
According to the hawkers, fresh batches of flowers are arriving daily to replenish their stocks.
