Sheila Kanotz, the Director of Horticulture, emphasized the collaborative effort that goes into maintaining this expansive beauty: “It takes a whole team to take care of these 25 acres.”

As Kanotz elaborated, “Everyone grabs their bucket and pruners; they come out to the gardens, and that’s where a lot of the fun happens.”
From selecting the perfect hydrangeas to harvesting sunflowers, participants engaged in the meticulous process of snipping stems and crafting their arrangements. The uniqueness of each bouquet stems from the personal selection of flowers, ensuring that every individual departs with a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
“After selecting their blooms, participants head back to the studio to craft their bouquet,” Kanotz explained. “With the guidance of horticulturists, they create their arrangement.”
