The inauguration of the show was conducted by Paul Hurst, the Chairman of the East Woodhay Parish Council. Reflecting on the event’s success, Kim Boreham, the show’s organizer, expressed, “It was an exceptional occasion that brought the entire community together. A sizable audience had the opportunity to appreciate the diverse exhibits, engage with the fairground stalls, and relish the performances of the East Woodhay Silver Band. The presence of Bluey, as a special guest, was particularly thrilling for the younger attendees.”

Additionally, Les Barber, an impressive 96-year-old participant who has been partaking in the show since the age of eight, secured victory in both the Hayes Challenge Cup and the Canon Stephenson Cup categories.
