The Taynuilt Flower Show, organized by the Taynuilt Horticultural Society, proved to be a resounding success for the year 2023. Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, last month’s event showcased an impressive array of talent and botanical beauty.
One standout participant was Hugh MacLeod, who enjoyed a triumphant day, securing several prestigious trophies. Notably, MacLeod clinched the coveted award for the “Best in Show” entry, as well as accolades for the “Best Flowers” and the “Best Vase of Sweetpeas.”
The Taynuilt Primary School also left its mark on the event, claiming top honors in two significant categories. The school earned trophies for the “Best Exhibit in the Children’s Section” and excelled in the “Novice Section.”
