The shop’s owner, Dr. Telisa Franklin, has endured a harrowing ordeal over the past few months as her business was targeted by thieves on more than a dozen occasions. During these repeated burglaries, Dr. Franklin lost various items, including office equipment, flowers, foam, ribbons, and other essentials.

Expressing her frustrations, Dr. Franklin implored the community to take responsibility and hold each other accountable for the crimes they witness. She stated, “When you see something, say something. That’s one of the challenges I have in Memphis, is that many people see the crime and they know who the crime dealers are. They know the people that are wreaking havoc, but they are not saying anything.”

Regrettably, no arrests have been made in connection with these burglaries, leaving Dr. Franklin and her flower shop with no option but to permanently close its doors due to the relentless thefts.
