Ludhiana: The Nehru Rose Garden is set to come alive once more in February next year after a hiatus of nearly seven years. Civic officials have taken the initiative to revive the annual flower show, with preparations and arrangements already underway.
Flower enthusiasts and residents can look forward to a visual feast as the upcoming event will provide a platform to showcase a diverse array of fully grown flower varieties. The last flower show took place in 2016, and since then, the event had been on hold. The annual gathering typically featured not only a flower show but also painting exhibitions, baby shows, dhol (drum) performances, and rangoli competitions.
Residents actively participated in the flower show, competing for recognition and rewards. Additionally, park management committees will join the festivities, with acknowledgment awarded to the best-maintained park. The revival of this event is anticipated to bring joy to flower enthusiasts and the community alike.
