Thiruvananthapuram’s Ananthapuri flower show, hosted at the world market grounds in Anayara, is captivating visitors with a stunning display of diverse flowers and plants. The event features a wide array of flora from various countries, highlighting a 30,000 sq ft Ooty-style garden and striking installations made from flowers and plants.
Beyond showcasing floral varieties, the festival includes a cut flower show and a landscaping exhibition. Attendees can also enjoy an exotic pet show featuring a remarkable array of birds and pets. The event goes beyond horticulture, incorporating fashion shows, art and literary events, as well as musical and dance performances. Mannaratharail Gardens, a prominent name in curating flower shows in the state, plays a key role in organizing the event. The Ananthapuri flower show, organized by the Thiruvananthapuram Arts Trust in collaboration with agricultural and cooperative societies, runs from 11 am to 10 pm and concludes on December 12.
