In the greenhouses of the municipal enterprise Bishkekzelenkhoz, the planting of seeds for annual flowers has officially commenced, marking the beginning of preparations for city beautification and landscaping. The Bishkek mayor’s office press service reported that this year’s initiative aims to cultivate over 1.6 million flowers for various urban beautification projects in Bishkek.
The dedicated employees of the enterprise will oversee the nurturing of seedlings, a process that will continue until spring. Once ready, these seedlings will be strategically planted in flowerbeds across the city, adhering to a meticulously designed layout crafted by the enterprise’s staff. This initiative contributes to enhancing the aesthetic appeal of public spaces and promoting greenery throughout Bishkek.
In the previous year, the capital saw the successful planting of over a million annual flowers as part of similar initiatives to enhance the city’s visual appeal and create vibrant and welcoming environments for residents and visitors alike.
