Serving as a deputy to the National People’s Congress from Fujian and holding the role of Party secretary in Xishan village of Yongfu, Chen has been instrumental in orchestrating this blooming transformation.
Xishan village, renowned for its lush azalea plantation, stands out as a testament to the collective dedication to floriculture. Virtually every household in the village actively participates in cultivating and nurturing flowers.
The floral industry has become the lifeblood of Xishan, with over 90 percent of villagers engaging in various aspects of flower cultivation. This involvement extends to both online and offline sales, resulting in a flourishing marketplace. The surge in sales has not only invigorated the local economy but has also turned Xishan into a magnet for tourists seeking the intrinsic beauty of these natural wonders.
